Seminars
Leadership 101
Leadership develops daily, not in a day—that is reality. The good news is that your leadership ability is not static. No matter where you’re starting from, you can get better. Everyone has the ability to improve in leadership, but it doesn't happen overnight. Persistence, passion, and devotion are required to learn and grow. Developing yourself into the leader you can be will change everything for you. This seminar is designed to jumpstart your leadership, add to your effectiveness, and multiply your impact. The Leadership 101 seminar is taught in 10 three-hour sessions.
Teamwork 101
Teamwork is always at the heart of great achievement. Working together allows us to take on large projects and ambitious goals. Teams come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Building a team involves bringing people together, while teamwork is allowing those people to use their diverse abilities, values, and beliefs to achieve something they would not be able to do alone. Effective teams can be formed in any workplace by cultivating a teamwork culture through practice and training. What is your organization doing to foster a culture of teamwork? The Teamwork 101 seminar is taught in 10 three-hour sessions.
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team
Teamwork is the ultimate competitive advantage, because it’s both powerful and rare. A high-functioning team can achieve its goals and potential, resulting in a more productive organization. However, all teams, whether we like it or not, have the potential to be dysfunctional. This is inevitable because teams are made up of a diverse range of people. Fortunately, there is hope. Contrary to popular belief, the causes of team dysfunction are both identifiable and curable.
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team seminar is based on Patrick Lencioni’s best selling book which is the world’s most definitive resource for building teams. The advantages of being a highly functioning team are enormous. Improving teamwork will help your organization become more effective and will have a profound impact on the lives of your team members. This seminar helps teams improve in five key areas: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results. The Five Dysfunctions of a Team seminar is customized to meet the needs of teams or leaders or both.
Leading and Managing Change
Leading and managing change is complex and challenging. This seminar examines the nature of change in human behavior, both individual and collective. Practices and theories about reform, change, and decision-making look at who you need to communicate with and how each entity needs to be managed. We explore the process of change as it relates to individuals, teams, organizations, leaders, crisis, and courage with special emphasis on leadership, decision-making, and the dimensions of change. The Leading and Managing Change seminar is taught in 15 three-hour sessions.
Relational Leadership
Leadership is a relationship-intensive endeavor. Many leadership challenges, when examined closely, are relational—success is increasingly dependent on how we interact with others. This seminar will help you improve your relational leadership skills so you can become a more effective, respected, and successful leader. We explore leadership in terms of establishing trust, forming and mending relationships, inspiring and investing in people, building teams that achieve positive results, and helping people develop their skills to become leaders in their own right. The Relational Leadership seminar is taught in 15 three-hour sessions.
Advanced Executive Leadership
What distinguishes great leaders from merely good ones? What enables one leader to inspire confidence, loyalty, and hard work, while others—with equal vision and intelligence—stumble?
True leadership isn’t a matter of having a certain job or title. To become the leader people follow, you have to master the ability to invest in people and inspire them. To grow further in your career, you must achieve results and build a team that produces. Executives must assist people in developing their skills so that they can become leaders in their own right.
One of the biggest misconception about leadership is that it’s simply a matter of charisma and vision—either you possess it or you don't. The truth is that great executive leadership can be learned and refined. This seminar will help you improve your personal leadership skills so you can influence your teams to be more productive and empowered. We explore leadership in terms of influence, communication, personal growth and capacity, change, and teamwork to help you become a more effective, respected, and successful leader. The Advanced Executive Leadership seminar is taught in 20 three-hour sessions.
The Bible on Leadership
Where do most people go to learn about leadership? Some people study politics or sports. Others seek leadership advice from successful CEOs, managers, teachers, or mentors. However, one of the most valuable sources of leadership education today is the same as it has been for thousands of years. If you want to learn leadership, examine one of the greatest books on leadership ever written—the Bible.
How can the Bible assist you in becoming a better leader? The Bible contains the greatest collection of leadership case studies ever written, with tremendously useful and insightful lessons on integrity, purpose, humility, team development, intuition, empowerment, priorities, sacrifice, and legacy. This seminar examines how biblical characters modeled leadership in both positive and negative ways. Whether or not you currently consider yourself a strong leader, this seminar can propel you to new heights. The Bible on Leadership seminar is taught in 20 three-hour sessions.
The Leader’s Algorithm
Systems of all kinds resist change. Once an underperforming culture takes hold in a school district, it will perpetuate until someone steps up. When there are systemic problems, effective leaders must make systemic changes. In his book, The Leader’s Algorithm, Pablo Muñoz outlines a strategic leadership framework for developing a viable, personal Theory of Action to transform your life, work, and relationships while positively impacting those who need you most.
Muñoz & Company has adapted the content from The Leader’s Algorithm book into a unique learning experience. In this seminar, you will strengthen your leadership skills, create useful resources, and learn how to lead from the heart, because effective leadership is not just systems management; it’s an act of love. The Leader’s Algorithm seminar is taught in 25 three-hour sessions.
Mastermind Groups
A Mastermind Group brings together individuals, leaders, or teams who are dedicated and motivated to make effective and lasting changes to their lives. Together, a Mastermind Group will learn how to effectively raise their leadership skills to a new level by understanding and implementing the principles of Maxwell Leadership. As a Mastermind Group moves through each lesson, they will bring ideas and opinions that will help shape their understanding of the content in a way that is far superior to simply reading a book on your own. A Mastermind Group consists of 10 to 16 sessions lasting 60 to 90 minutes, in which one of the following books by John Maxwell is studied in depth:
